"Before I started training with Tom I found the idea of running longer then 10 minutes a pain. My fitness wasn't really the issue (as Tom kept telling me), but that I would talk myself out of it when running. Tom helped develop my self belief and gradually increase our running time. We completed a varied training program of speedwork, steady runs and long runs that helped to build my fitness, strength and confidence. We have reached the milestone of 18 miles and I no longer feel that i can't do it, but that anything is possible when I put my mind to it.
