I was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire surrounded by countryside and all its health benefits. I enjoyed being active and played on the rugby, football and tennis teams at school. I was never a star, I just enjoyed playing a lot of different sports and having fun with my friends. I played club rugby for ten years and enjoyed the camaraderie and success that we experienced.
At the age of 16 I joined the local gym with my parents. They would take me along (not always willing) at some ungodly hour of the morning to get on the machines and exercise. It wasn't because I needed to go, it was just an enjoyable experience that we all shared and that was when I was bitten with the fitness bug.
In 2003 I became an instructor at the age of 19 and haven't looked back since. I trained first with YMCAfit before becoming a Personal Trainer through Premier. In 2007 I moved to London and have since built up a successful business across the Capital.
Since leaving rugby I have challenged myself in distance running and have enjoyed completing half, full and ultra marathons. I enjoy seeing what limits I can surpass through fitness, both physically and mentally.
I am a happy, energised and positive person and I bring that to each of my sessions. My experience in sport and the fitness industry provides me with the skills to make your training fun and challenging. With my approach I'll help you to the next level in your fitness.
I come from South Bohemia in the Czech Republic where I lived until I was 23. Apart from roller blading; which I have great experience in, I was never into fitness. In other words I was unfit and overweight.
When I moved to the UK it started a new chapter in my life. I began visiting the gym where I became friends with one of the trainers there called Eduardo. Training with him and experiencing first hand his passion for fitness inspired me to enter the industry.
Whilst training with Eduardo he introduced me to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) which I now hold a blue belt in. In the year and a half that I have been training BJJ I have had some success at tournaments, but enjoy the challenge of training more than competing.
Since starting in the gym 2 and a half years ago I have lost around 15kg of body fat and increased my strength, so that I can squat, bench press and deadlift more than my bodyweight. To be honest I don't feel that I have reached my peak and will continue to strive to achieve more.
When starting with my clients I set realistic short and medium term goals in order to achieve their ultimate long term aim. This process improves their confidence and keeps them motivated. As a result this helps to balance their lifestyle and creates a positive attitude.
As I have used many forms of training I enjoy sharing my experience with others, making their workout functional and as much fun as possible.
I will always bring a good mood to my sessions, ready to help you.
